Stick "n" Step Runcorn

On Friday 6th March a small number of Brethren from St George RAM 553 in Garston had wonderful opportunity to visit Stick "n" Step project in Runcorn.

The purpose was to present an LED Sensory Chime-about. The suggestion came from Bro Eric O' Callaghan. The small but entertaining piece of equipment pleased all the children seated around the worktables. The cost of £186 was a small price for the joy it brought to the children.
The brethren arrived at 10.30 am and met with Kelly Marks, who is the Community fund raiser. Kelly gave a brief but very interesting overview of the Cerebral Palsy Project.

The brethren were then introduced to a small number of the dedicated members of Staff. The staff members we would think of as teachers are referred to as Conductors. Nora Szentirmal who is the Lead Conductor, Panni Monus who is also a Conductor explained about the different needs of the children and how everyone works together as a family.

The Conductive Education is free of charge, it is essential therefore that as much support as possible is given to this project.

This project is so worthwhile it deserves a lot of support. To find out more please view their Website. www.sticknstep.org/what-we-do
